It was, however, a pretty crappy run. Literally.
Apparently the three slices of pizza I ate last night for dinner, along with the bowl of cereal and frozen yogurt for dessert didn't agree with me. At mile 9 I had to leave the trail and drop my shorts in the woods. And then again at mile 12. And then at mile 13 I finally found a port-a-potty and stopped again for a little clean-up.
Lesson learned... no pizza the night before a big run!
Other than that, it was a pretty good run. My legs felt good and strong and I had no other issues.
Next week is a step-back week. Then on to a 20 mile run in two weeks. Eek!!!
