5 Miles on the Mall

This morning I ran 5 miles from the Capital to the Tidal Basin, past the Jefferson Memorial, through the FDR Memorial, past the Lincoln and WWII Memorials and up to the Washington Monument and past the Smithsonians.  I enjoyed the run, but I got stopped at some traffic lights which is why I much prefer my morning runs in Hains Point park.

My pace wasn't as fast as yesterday (I couldn't do that two days in a row), but it was a good pace and a little faster than my marathon goal pace.  I finished strong in my last mile...
